Summer Makeup

When it comes to wearing makeup during the heat of summer, less is more. You don't need many products to get the pulled-together glow of glamour that you want. In fact, the more you put on, the goopier the mess when it melts.

A great product to start with, year-round, is sunblock. We know: You hate the smell and feel of ones you've used in the past. Well, the lotions have gotten better since the zinc oxide days of your childhood. You can find light spray-on sunblock or ones like Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock. It has a light scent and dries fast; you can use it instead of your daily moisturizer.

So now all you need is a little shimmer.Try using some
bronzer on your cheeks and T-zone. (One favorite is Clinique's Shimmering Tones Powder.) Then slick on some shiny lip gloss that's not too sticky. A nice neutral one is L'Oreal Colour Riche lip gloss in "Rich Rose." Now you're good to go!
